Fallout Dogmeat German Shepherd Crochet Amigurumi Free Pattern

 

 
Dogmeat is a german shepherd, the best friend to human and non-human. This is the second dog pattern I share, the first one being a golden retriever, Lucky, the pizza dog, which is a similar size as this one, so you can start your herd. 
Materials: yarn light dk color brown and black, 3 mm hook, safety eyes 6 mm, stuffing.
The dog is going to measure 10 cm / 3,9 inch approx.

 
ABBREVIATIONS (U.S.):

R: round
**: repeat to the end of round

BODY:

Start with brown.

R1: 6 sc in mr
R2: *sc inc* [12]
R3: *1 sc, sc inc* [18]
R4: 18 sc [18]
R5-6: 10 sc, change to black: 7 sc, change to brown: 1 sc [18]
R7: 3 sc, sc dec, 6 sc, change to black: 2 sc, sc dec, 1 sc, change to brown: 2 sc [16]
R8: 11 sc, change to black: 2 sc, change to brown: 3 sc [16]
R9: *6 sc, sc dec* [14]
R10: 14 sc [14]

Break yarn leaving enough for sewing.
 



ARMS:

Make two.

With brown.

R1: 6 sc in mr
R2-8: 6 sc [6]

Break yarn leaving enough for sewing.

Sew arms on what is going to be the front of the body between R9-10.



LEGS:

Make two.

With brown.

R1: 7 sc in mr
R2-5: 7 sc [7]
R6: sc dec, 5 sc [6]

Break yarn leaving enough for sewing.

Sew legs at the sides of the body between R3-5.



TAIL:

Start with black.

R1: 5 sc in mr
R2: 5 sc [5]

Change to brown.

R3-5: 5 sc [5]

Break yarn leaving enough for sewing.

Sew tail at the back of the body between R3-5.



HEAD:

With brown.

R1: 6 sc in mr
R2: *sc inc* [12]
R3: *1 sc, sc inc* [18]
R4: *2 sc, sc inc* [24]
R5: *3 sc, sc inc* [30]
R6-8: 30 sc [30]
R9: *3 sc, sc dec* [24]

Place eyes between R7-8, leaving 5 stitches between them.

R10: *2 sc, sc dec* [18]
R11: *1 sc, sc dec* [12]
R12: *sc dec* [6]

Close.

To add a little detail I outlined each eye with black yarn.



SNOUT:

With black.

R1: 6 sc in mr
R2: *2 sc, sc inc* [8]
R3: *3 sc, sc inc* [10]

Break yarn leaving enough for sewing.

Sew snout between R7-10 centered between eyes.



EARS:

Make two.

With brown.

R1: 6 sc in mr
R2-3: 6 sc [6]

Break yarn leaving enough for sewing.

Sew the ears between R2-4.

Sew head to body.
