Iris the Flower Bunny

Iris is a floppy eared rabbit who enjoys flowers very much (I mean, who doesn't?), thus decided to dress up as a little flower. You can make Iris a flower headband or skirt or both, to make up the little costume as you like.
For this project I used a 3 mm crochet hook, 10 mm eyes, tapestry needle and light DK yarn in main bunny color about 30 g, green 10 g, some of the choice color for the flower and a little bit of pink.

The bunny will be 12 cm / 4,7 inch tall approx.

Let's hop to it!

Leave a long tail at the beginning of chain.

34 ch
FIRST PETAL: starting on third chain from hook, 1 dc, 2 dc in next st, 1 dc in next st, 2 ch, 1 sl st in same st as last dc
SECOND TO LAST PETAL: 1 sl st in next 2 st, 2 ch, 1 dc in same st as sl st, 2 dc in next st, 1 dc in next st, 2 ch, 1 sl st in same st as last dc
Finish with a sl st.

Break yarn leaving a tail as long as the one at the beginning.
Cut another strand of yarn that is twice as long as the one you left, and we'll fold this one in half and attach it to the other end of the flower. This way your flower can be tied to the bunny.
