Ghost Froggy

 

 
A new member for the "Halloween" gang (Dracucat, Kit and Didi devil). A super quick and easy project.
Yarn: white 10 g approx and green 5 g approx; Tools: a 3 mm crochet hook, stuffing, 6 mm safety eyes and tapestry needle.
 
The froggy is going to measure 6 cm / 2,3 inch.
 
 
ABBREVIATIONS (U.S.):

R: round
ch: chain
inc: increase
dec: decrease

**: repeat to the end of round
[...] total stitches at the end of round
 
 
BODY:

Start with white.

R1: 6 sc in mr
R2: *sc inc* [12]
R3: *1 sc, sc inc* [18]
R4: *2 sc, sc inc* [24]
R5-9: 24 sc [24]
R10: working in the front loop only *2 sc, 2 ch *

Break the white yarn, you can secure this end now or later. Join green yarn on a back loop from the last round.

R11-12: 24 sc [24]
R13: *2 sc, sc dec* [18]
R14: *1 sc, sc dec* [12]
R15: *sc dec* [6]

Close.
 

 
EYES:

Make two.

R1: 4 sc in mr
R2: *sc inc* [8]
R3: 8 sc

Place safety eyes between R2-3. Sew eyes between R2-5 of body.


 
ARMS/LEGS:

Make two with white for arms. Make two with green for legs.

3 ch
R1: 2 sc [2]

Sew arms at the sides of the body between R7-8.
Sew legs between R14-15 of the body.

    1. the magic ring is an adjustable loop where you'll make your first round of stitches and then since it is adjustable you can close the loop nicely. I have this little guide here: hisheepok.blogspot.com/2018/07/magic-circle.html but if you have no idea about this method I'd recommend watching some youtube tutorials so it is easier to understand.
