Didi the Bear Devil costume

I love to give my amigurumi a little accessory and since it is spooky season I made Didi a devil costume so now we are all ready for some halloween tricks!
To turn Didi into a fun devil I used a 3 mm crochet hook, 10 g of Light DK yarn in red and a tapestry needle.

The finished doll is going to measure 13 cm / 5,1 inch approx.

ABBREVIATIONS (U.S.):

ch: chain

dec: decrease

[...] total stitches at the end of round

NOTE: First we need Didi the bear, you can see the post with photos or just the written pattern here. If we already have the bear, you can just skip right to the costume.

R4-5: 2 ch, turn, 24 dc [24]

If you want to lengthen your cape you can repeat the last row as many times as you want.

Break yarn, secure and hide loose ends.

To make the tie for the cape cut a strand of yarn, we need it to be long enough that we can wrap it around our bear. We'll weave this strand through the top (the starting chain) of the cape from end to end. Make a little knot at each end of the strand and cut the yarn as close as posible.

TAIL:

With red.

4 ch
R1: 1 sl st, 1 sc, 1 hdc, 1 ch, sl st in same ch as last hdc
R2: 11 ch

Break yarn leaving enough for sewing.
Secure the end from the beginning.

Sew the tail to the cape between the last two rows. I sewed my tail to one side instead of centered so that it kind of pokes out.
